How to get exercise

As a grad student it is easy to sit at the library all day every day. It is important to exercise! I find that the school's karate club is terrific: you get to interact with people from all over the university (professors, lab techs, grad students, and more! Mostly undergrads still, of course) and the sport is tremendous fun with lots of well-balanced exercise.
