My main research interest is database performance and how the DB interacts with the processor and disks. Biography I (finally) completed my PhD, and I am now working for Oracle. I did my undergraduate work at The University of Texas at Austin, where I received a BS in Electrical Engineering. While here at Wisconsin, my main research area was databases and I was advised by David DeWitt. I have two brothers: Lane and Seth. Lane is a part-time graduate student in ECE at UT and works full-time in industry. Seth completed his PhD in ECE at UT in 2011 and is currently pursuing some startup ideas. No, our parents are not in tech. |
