PROFILE ABT Building Products (ABTco), now a subsidiary of building and lumber products giant Louisiana-Pacific, made exterior and interior building products from engineered wood and plastic. It sold to the home improvement, remodeling, commercial, and new construction markets. ABTco's interior products included paintable trim, architectural and prefinished moldings, door panels, wall coverings, and tile board. Its exterior products included hardboard and vinyl siding, and trim board. ABTco's products sold under the such brand names as ABTco, Affinity, AquaTile, Americana/Cameo, Canterbury, PrimeMoulding, and PRO-1. Formerly based in Neenah, Wisconsin, ABTco's last reported sales were about $317 million in 1998. Louisiana-Pacific acquired ABTco in 1999 for about $225 million.
