The Company's portfolio of well-recognized owned and licensed brand names includes Salton, Toastmaster, Maxim, Breadman, Juiceman, JuiceLady Salton, Toastmaster, Maxim, Breadman, Juiceman, Juicelady, George Foreman Grills, White-Westinghouse, Farberware, Melitta, Block, Atlantis, Sasaki, Rejuvenique, Ingraham, Timex, Indiglo, Calvin Klein, Sonex, Stiffel and Relaxor. The Company is also a leading designer and distributor of small appliances in the U.S. under such well-known names as Kenmore and Magic Chef.

Financial Summary
Salton, Inc. designs and markets a broad range of kitchen and small household electrical appliances under such brand names as Salton, Maxim, Breadman, Juiceman, Farberware and White-Westinghouse. For the 39 weeks ended 3/31/01, net sales fell 6% to $623 million. Net income fell 25% to $57.6 million. Revenues reflect decreased sales of Rejuvenique, Breadman, White-Westinghouse and Farberware product lines. Net income reflects increased legal fees and interest expense.
