Financial Summary
Pharmacia Corp. is engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sale of pharmaceuticals and other related health care products and agricultural products. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 6% to $9.94 billion. Net income from continuing operations before acct. change and extraordinary items applicable to Common totalled $1 billion, up from $501 million. Revenues reflect volume increases. Earnings also reflect decreased merger and restructuring charges.
