I have written my own plugin for WinAmp.
The main thing in the .dll now is the VU meter. And this one does things
correctly in that it uses calculus to generate the power of the
wave and converts it internally to decibells, etc. Let me know what you
think at ballard@cs.wisc.edu.
NOTE: To get this to work, sigh, the current release neds the .bmp file to be in
A 1khz reference tone. This should be on the border of the "red zone".
Version History
v0.03 1/11/97
Made the windows pop-up style. First thing to note, if you want to move
the window around, click and drag the window around instead of using a title
bar. (that wasn't terriably fun to code).
Also if you get it close enough to the WinAmp window it will jump to the
winamp window and attach at the top left, and bottom left corners.
Coming soon: The windows will follow the winamp window around if they have stuck to the side.
v0.02 1/7/97
Added the big scope and fixed some minor bugs with the VU meter.
