I will describe several components from Open|SpeedShop that we are planning to make available for a possible community tool infrastructure. I will discuss our plans to further modify the internal structure of Open|SpeedShop to isolate these components and to decompose the larger parts into smaller, more flexible components.

The talk will also briefly cover the functionality and APIs of the key components in Open|SpeedShop. In addition, I will present my experiences with integrating the vampirtrace library and its functionality into Open|SpeedShop.
