Arka has grdatude with PhD in Computer Science from the department of Computer Sciences of University of Wisconsin - Madison. He was advised by Professor Mark D. Hill and Professor Michael Swift. He currently works as researcher at AMD Research .
Arka's research interests lies broadly in computer architecture and in particular, hardware intercations with OS in memory management His thesis research focuses on hardware-OS techniques for efficient virtual memory management in today's context -- for emerging big memory workloads and for energy-efficiency. His past research explored last-level cache designs and cache coherence protocol designs.
