Memory 52MAX CD-RW

I like this particular drive more than my Lite-ON 52x drive. It is more quiet. The difference between it and the Lite-ON drive is that the Lite-ON always appears to spin up to 52x right away. The Memorex spins up to a slower speed, then as accesses continues accelerates. This works very well, the latency is similar, but for the typical small access size, the drive doesn't spin up and sound like a vacumn cleaner. Both sound like a vacumn when full bore at 52x.
