This one's pretty sloppy...and I copped a run from Elliot Smith (R.I.P.) but I don't think it's a rip for the most part...but let me know what you think. Would love some feedback. This one has a little Brian Hall flavor to it I think...and maybe a little Paul Kelly influence.

i had lots of homework last night, but i'm working on a couple more... i'm way less set up for mp3s than you, but they'll show up eventually. and i barely have enough spare time just to listen to your stuff.
my post today was gonna be a partial irish sea shanty called "gilligan's wake." i was thinking pogues meets the tv theme song... the idea was really coming along, then i did a google search and saw that there's a (seemingly quite clever) book with that title. so we'll see. but i'm still soliciting any random gilligan thoughts anybody might have. you seem to have lots of time, could you watch some episodes for me?

i hear the elliot smith influence. i popped in "figure 8" to get a bit of inspiration the other night, so you might be hearing some elliot-like stuff from me, too.
