MP3 Demo Here (3.1mb)
And this is the last one! Probably the weakest of the three, unfortunately (I actually like the chorus, but the verses suck... but hey, it was FAWMed). Note also that I make reference to different disciples in each of the songs, but I'm still very much talking about myself here... I'm just relating to said disciple, guess. Whatever. I'll maybe elaborate on my thinking later, but I'm out the door to see Single Frame play tonight...
In Your Wrists
lyrics/music by Burr Settles
they told me this morning
that they'd seen you in your glory
but i just can't believe it unless i see
forever the skeptic,
the cynic, with a septic heart
so please, Lord, forgive me and help me see
and i need to dig my fingers in your wrists
and i need to stick my hand inside your side like the rest
and i need your rest...
you must admit it's hard
to know you're alive when a starving child
can be sold for pleasure, it sickens me
i know, you've known me
the love and grace you've shown me
is mine now to exhibit
so help me see
and i need to dig my fingers in your wrists
and i need to stick my hand inside your side like the rest
and i need your rest...

I love the music in this one...it's semi-uplifting. The chorus is fantastic. I don't think the verses are too bad. This song would sound good with a bridge. Maybe after FAWM you could work out the kinks a little.
(ha ha ha, Uff-Da Wisconsin just came on my mp3 player...LOL. After such a heavy trilogy, it's quite nice to listen to such a funny, good times type song :))
