My scarf is 5" X 65".
Caron Simply Soft yarn in Orchid (I think I used one 6 oz. skein)
Size 9 knitting needles (If I remember correctly)
Cable stitch needle
co 36 st
First Row: k2, (k1, p1) 16 times, k2.
Repeat First Row 9 times (total of 10 rows in the border).
Rows 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 (WS):
k4, (p8, k2) twice, p8, k4.
Row 2 (RS): k2, p2, k8, p2, c4b twice, p2, k8, p2, k2.
Row 4: k2, p2, c4f, c4b, p2, k2, c4f, k2, p2, c4f, c4b, p2, k2.
Row 6: rep R2.
Row 8: k2, p2, k8, p2, k2, c4f, k2, p2, k8, p2, k2.
Row 10: k2, p2, c4b, c4f, p2, c4b twice, p2, c4b, c4f, p2, k2.
Row 12: rep R8.
Repeat Rows 1 - 12 until scarf is desired length
