I am a third year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My advisor is Prof. Hyunseung Kang. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program in July 2017, I worked as a junior economist for two and a half years at the Bank of Korea. I received a B.S in Statistics from Seoul National University.

My research broadly focuses on the causal inference under the presence of interference. I am interested in applying machine learning methods to the data having network structure, while considering the efficiency of the estimation.
