Lecture Policies
Lectures are the course coordinator's opportunity to provide students live discussion on the problems presented each week. Course announcements will also be made at each week's lecture as well as posted on the course web site.
One of the objectives of the lectures is to give students the opportunity see solutions to the problems where they may ask questions and hear questions that other students ask.
Lecture attendance is not required. However, many students feel that the opportunity to learn the material with other students and ask questions at the start of each topic helps them be better prepared for Team Labs and the quizzes.
Participation in the lectures by answering questions and raising your hand to ask your own questions is strongly encouraged. Please don't be shy, any question you may have is likely one that many other students would also like answered.
If you know that you will be unable to attend your lecture during a particular week, you may attend the other lecture without prior approval or notice. Just show up.
