Visit Karen outside of class time (during office hours is preferred, but not essential). Discuss the class, your university goals, your career goals, or some other subject of your choosing. The benefit is that your semester score for the course will be raised by 1%, and Karen will learn your name.
To earn this extra credit, do this activity during the semester, but not the first 2 weeks or the last week of classes.
Give Karen (by e-mail or on a piece of paper) a joke or riddle.
Not just any joke will do! It must be relatively "clean" (no swear words, please), and hopefully not denigrate any ethnic, racial, or spiritual group. It must in some way relate to computer science, electrical engineering, or subjects discussed in 354.
Please cite the author or source of your joke. And, note that you may not earn this extra credit simply by providing a web link to a page that contains a joke.
The benefit is that your semester score for the course will be raised by 1%, and the entire class may get a chuckle, since Karen intends to send at least some of these jokes to the entire class list.
