For our first class Wednesday Sept 3rd, I recommend that you examine the
course home page (http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~david/courses/cs752/Fall2008/)
and:

* NO EARLIER THAN SATURDAY, print out:
   + ~12 course web pages (Home, Contact Info, ..., Miscellanea)
   + Lecture notes for Units 0 and 1
   + HW0
   + Reader 1

* Begin reading Chapter 1 of the text.

* Note that the first paper review is due Friday Sept 5th and HW0 is due Monday Sept 8th.
