Declan Cain
Hello, my name is Declan Cain and I am an undergraduate student here at UW-Madison. I am currently a second-year student who is pursing a major in Computer Science and intending to double major in Mathematics. I have interests in Software Development and Cyber Security. To pursue these interests, I have done several personal Software Development projects, as well as joined the UW-Madison Cyber Security Club. As a avid enjoyer of problem solving, I am committed to continually develop my skills as a computer scientist and as a mathmatician.
I am currently a second-year student here at UW-Madison. Prior to my enrollment to UW-Madison, I graduated from Hinsdale Central Highschool in Hinsdale, Il in 2022. In 2021, Hinsdale Central High School was rated the 52nd best public highschool in the U.S. due to its rigourous course work that better prepares its students for life in college and beyond. I graduated with a 5.3 weighted GPA on a 5 point scale. Currently at UW-Madison, after the completion of my first two semester, I hold a 3.95 GPA on a 4 point scale and I have been on the Dean's list all semesters I have completed here at UW-Madison.
