USENIX is the Advanced Computing Systems Association. I am a member,
and the USENIX "campus representative" for UW-Madison. As campus rep,
my role is to help publicize USENIX programs to students, faculty and
staff and answer any questions.
Send me email or stop by and ask about any USENIX program, to
get access to the latest conference papers, or to borrow proceedings
of past USENIX conferences.
USENIX Events Calendar
The USENIX Events Calendar
has program infromation for current conferences and
Calls for Papers for future conferences.
USENIX Student Programs
USENIX values students and the research in the advanced computing
systems arena that is generated in colleges and
universities. Recognizing the importance of that work, USENIX has
developed several special
student programs.
The best source for current information is the
Student Program
web page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
On this page, I've listed some of the programs of particular
interest to students.
Student Stipends
-- USENIX will fund students to attend conferences!
Yes, you read that right! USENIX student stipends cover travel,
accommodations and registration fees for full-time students interested
in attending USENIX conferences and workshops. Check the
stipend page
for more information.
