I'm a second year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison Department of Computer Sciences (note the "s"; it is apparently important). I work with Andrea and Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau on various points of file systems research. My current project involves measuring the characteristics of various Dropbox-like systems; it follows up, albeit indirectly, my previous research on measuring home file systems, published in "A File Is Not a File: Understanding the I/O Behavior of Apple Desktop Applications".
