I am a third-year Ph.D. student at the Department of Statistics, UW-Madison. My adviser is Po-Ling Loh. My current research interests broadly include topics in statistical machine learning, such as high-dimensional statistics, robust statistics, non-convex and convex optimization, causal inference, probabilistic graphical model, and statistical signal processing. I am also interested in statistical applications to medical imaging, network science, epidemiology, genomics and finance.

Before coming to Madison, I received my BS in mathematics from Jilin University in 2013 and my MS in mathematics(in the mathematics Ph.D. program) from the University of Florida in 2015.
