Welcome to the new interface for accessing my pictures. The newest stuff is at the top. It goes backwards chronologically.. roughly.
This is all stuff that didn't fit elsewhere. A small glimpse into my life if you will. Since I tend to add stuff here, well,
randomly, I'm just going to keep it at the top. Deal.
Back to Milwaukee to see the fam for Thanksgiving again. Got to see a
bunch of friends too and hang out with all my cousins (a rare treat). It
was also the first night of Chanukah so there was the annual Chanukah
party as well. A fun trip, but very cold. Also pictures of the annual
Thanksgiving football game.
Pictures from my Oct. 2002 trip to Milwaukee. Some cool action pics. And
I'm trying out a new interface one of my co-workers created.
I went to Europe in June-July 2002 for two weeks. It was awesome! We
were in Paris for a week, and then traveled to the Tuscan region of Italy
by train. We stayed a bit in Firenze (Florence) and then drove down to
Siena just in time to catch the Palio. I haven't had a chance to organize
the pictures or anything yet but there's some cool stuff.
I went out to Yosemite for a weekend with Kristin to visit our friend
Chad. Beautiful pictures and I got bored writing silly descriptions like
"More trees" and "Nice river" towards the end.
My trip to Wisconsin and Chicago for Memorial Day. The big event being my aunt Nancy and uncle Norbert's wedding!
A major milestone at Tellme. We finally moved away from our old hardware completely. To celebrate, the sledgehammer came
out. Warning, these pictures are fairly large in size. High speed connections are recommended.
Some pictures from Carolyn's birthday dinner with some attempts at black and white artsy photography.
These are pictures from my March 2001 trip to Milwaukee and Madison. Some highlights include Shannon's birthday, Paul's Club, and the
Ides party.
Also when I was in Milwaukee for the Ides of March I was lucky enough to also be able to attend my grandfather's musical performance
debut at the Red Mill jazz club in Milwaukee.
These are some pictures from around Kim's birthday of some of the Valley folks at the Peppermill and dinner at this place I've been
informed is called Pedro's. The Peppermill pictures are kinda odd.
Thanksgiving in 'ole Milwaukee.
Right when I got my digital camera. Pictures of my house and Tellme.
The infamous Wop party. A yearly end of school tradition among a growing number of people in Madison. Not
for the faint of heart.
In Fall 1999 the CSL built a 100 node cluster of PCs for the Condor project. I had a hand in putting it all
together (ie, I did pretty much all the hardware) so I gotta put some pics up here. Sorry, no index. Just
look at the pretty wiring.
UW-Madison has a mainframe as many large universites do. The real name for it is Blue, but most people just
call it Yucky (for obvious reasons if you've ever had the pleasure of using an IBM mainframe). The old one
got replaced in Fall 1998 and I took some pictures of it when they pulled it out. This isn't indexed, and
the files are pretty large, but damn that's one big piece of iron.
The Computer Systems Lab is the place where I worked in Madison as an undergrad. The CSL manages all of the
computing resources for the Computer Science dept. Not a simple task! These are some older pictures from
Summer 1998. Things have changed a lot since then, however this gives a good feel for the place.
These pictures are from before I moved to California.
Home!
