A damn fine job, J. Really, I was quite pleasantly suprised by this one. A while back I heard one of those dj types - don't worry indie kids, i wasn't listening to commercial radio - musing as to why J was now realesing albums under his own name instead of under the Dinosaur Jr tag. I can't say that I now for sure, but it seems to me that he's gone and gotten interested in pop to a degree that he wasn't before. No complaints here - the new formula's done me good. (Don't be driven away by the fact that the label that's thrown this bit of wonder down has also given the world Dogstar. No one's perfect - not even Keanu.)
