Ginny grew up in Clinton, Wisconsin and has been employed by the UW since 1968, starting as a Pharmacy Technician at UW Hospital, and 16 years as a Laboratory Technician at the State Laboratory of Hygiene. With a desire to work with computers and to learn more about computer software programs, she joined the CS Dept. in 1994. Since January 2003, she has taken on the role of Payroll and Benefits Specialist, among her other tasks.

Ginny is in charge of:

• Payroll and Benefits
• Leave accounting for Faculty, Academic Staff, TA & PA
• Administrative support for 7 faculty
• Back-up to assist in the preparation of grant proposals
• Back-up for purchasing card
• Coordinate the Condor Project Maintenance Agreements
