This page is a distribution site for two corpora for use in experiments in wish detection, a novel natural language processing task that involves locating text that contains wishful or hopeful expressions. We are providing two collections of sentences labeled with respect to whether they contain a wishful expression. One is a set of sentences from product reviews, and the other contains sentences from online political discussions. These labeled data sets were introduced in the following paper:
