I am a second year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in the department of Computer Sciences. I received my BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 2014 from the School of Science and Engineering, LUMS, Pakistan.

Kubernetes: A Profile and Evaluation Study

A deep dive into Google's open source container orchestrator Kubernetes. The study profiles the policies and behaviour of Kubernetes in scheduling, admission control, crash scenarios and auto-scaling.


Client Side Resource Management in Public Clouds

The coarse granularity of resources in public clouds causes problems like excessive costs and performance degradation due to incorrect sizing and allocation of virtual instances. To solve this problem we prototyped a Client Side Resource Manager which uses application migration and dynamic migration policies to improve VM utilization.

Project Report

Control of an Autonomous Lawnmower

Built a robotic lawnmower from the ground up by equipping it with motor drives and interfacing it with an on-board computer to make a complete platform capable of autonomous motion.
