Lesson 2: I/O, Parameter passing, and Purify

1. Read the on-line notes titled C++ I/O and Parameter-Passing Modes.
2. Do the 2 "Test Yourself Now" exercises in the on-line I/O notes. Check your answers against the answers given at the end of the notes.
3. Read the on-line notes titled Purify.
4. Do the first programming assignment
