This is Jerel's Office (a.k.a. the computer gaming room). It's located behind the kitchen in the back right corner of the house. The door on the left leads to the kitchen.
I spent many moons painting this room. In fact I painted the walls 3 times! I used a twin roller with an abstract pattern and two colors. I was looking for a "fun" look and, on the recommendation of a design person, went with a bright yellow and orangy-brown. When mixed together, my office looked like the administrative office for the 70's Preservation Society. It was somewhat of an eyesore. Dan said it made him "want to puke". Next I tried a light gray and green-ish blue. Though nice, it wasn't exactly "fun". So I went back to the drawing board and painted it the final color, a light gray and a "silver mushroom" (brownish-gray). It turned out really well and all the sweating and cussing paid off in the end.
Here's a closer view of a section of the paint job.
