This is our 1st floor half-bath a.k.a. the "powder room". All of our bathrooms have the same Schrock maple cabinets that are in the kitchen and ceramic tile. This is probably one of my favorite rooms and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The paint on the wall and ceiling matches the two colors in the diagonal checkerboard tile. The countertop is a shiny black granite that also goes well with the colors in the tile. It almost makes you want to poop more just so you can spend more time in the bathroom and enjoy the ambience...or maybe that's just me... Come christen our toilet and make your own decision! :) The toilet is tucked away neatly around the corner to the left for an optimal view as well as optimal privacy. Dan and I insulated the walls of this room (and all the bathrooms) so that everyone in the house can't hear you pee. How's that for privacy?!
