Emit Time

Daydreaming, Jones found safely hidden secrets.
"Aha!," said he, discovering
"Times are fieldsets."
Trap the full set to reverse time.
Blank paper just became quickly recorded notes.
Diary A: "Just left apparatus for test".
Carefully. A and B buttons to push.
Push to buttons B and A -- Carefully.
Test for apparatus left just a diary.
Notes recorded quickly became just paper. Blank!
Time reverse to set full the trap.
"Fieldsets are times!"
Discovering, he said, "Aha!"
Secrets, hidden safely, found Jones daydreaming.

By Jim Gast, based loosely on a poem by Fredric Brown from "Nightmares and Geezenstacks" (Bantam, 1961).
