The PlayStation edition of Black Flag contains:

• Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
• Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Aveline (DLC)

The Aveline DLC is almost exclusive to this edition and not available separately for other platforms except for the PC release Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Uplay Gold Edition). It contains three additional missions starring Aveline De Grandpre, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, picking up after Liberation's story conclusion. One of her objectives is to rescue a recruit for Connor, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed III. She has access to hidden blades, a pair of machete blades and the blowpipe with sleeping and berserk darts. In her missions there are no optional objectives.
