Description

Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidō is the third game in the series of novels centering around the girl by the name of Haruhi Suzumiya, based off of comics followed by anime adaptation. The core of the gameplay in this game in the series is dancing. The story consists of typical visual novel dialogues, followed by a three-girl dancing consisting of quick-time events. After each dance, you are given a score based on your performance, and are able to retry it if you are aiming for a higher score than that already earned.

The story mode consists of 12 chapters with one song per each chapter. Haruhi one day stumbled upon a flyer about a dance competition and forming the group of girls her goal was to win the dancing contest. There are also bonus mini-games that get unlocked during gameplay.

Beside the story mode, there are four other gameplay modes:

Free Play - where you can select difficulty selection, song, and change character costumes

Match Mode - supports 2-6 players for score play, deathmatch or team play, with difficulty selection

Bonus Game - with unlockable character from story mode chapter

Home Run Showdown - a baseball mini-game
