My first bike was a 1982 Honda VF750S. I like the V4 engine Honda developed, even if it wasn't their hottest-selling bike.

Although this bike may be big and heavy, 100 HP to the wheel is nothing to sneeze at. This 625 lb. (wet) 2-wheeled monster is rumored to run up to 150MPH max (although I've only seen it up to 125 MPH first hand). Unfortunately, wrist pins, piston rod bearings, one camshaft and a rocker arm all decided to self destruct at about the same time. Repairs were within $500 of a replacement VF1000R with the original paint scheme, so

May it rest in peace. Unfortunately, it met its bitter end in a car vs. motorcycle collision in March of 1995.
