CS 564

Database Management Systems, Spring 2010

Project discussion sessions are on Tuesdays from 1:20 to 2:10 in Social Sciences 5231. I'll explain the concepts behind each project, take questions, etc.

I hold office hours in CS 3331 each Monday and Friday, from 9:00 to 11:00. If you're struggling, don't hesitate to drop by.

Also, if you have a quick question or concern, just shoot me an email. I may even reply during that sometimes inevitable late night coding session before the deadline.

Want to do well on the projects? Make an effort to read their descriptions and look at their test cases before jumping in. Try to figure out how the mechanisms you need to implement influence the big picture. If you do this before the project discussion sessions, you'll probably get answers to your most important questions early. Getting on your feet early will greatly improve your chances of finishing successfully.
