I'm a final year PhD student working with Prof Mike Swift in the area of Operating Systems. I'm planning to graduate in Spring 2013. My dissertation research looks at three related problems to improve device-access: 1) Reliability of device drivers against device failures (SOSP '09), 2) Deeper understanding of the breadth of driver code (ASPLOS '12), and 3) Improving device latency by introducing checkpoint-restore in modern drivers (ASPLOS '13).

I'm looking for academic and industry positions. If you are hiring, please email me! A CV is here.
