Software

We will use SimpleScalar, Condor, and run experiments on real processors including Intel Core2 Quad-core chips, Nvidia GPUs, and Sun Niagara.

• Sim-alpha: A validated microarchitecture simulator that simulates the Alpha 21264. This is a much more detailed simulator compared to Simplescalar
• Full system multicore simulator
• Simplesclar with a better memory model
• IBM Cell simulator
• Niagara (Ultrasparc T1) simulator
• Sh - a GPU simulator
• ATTILA, a GPU simulator
