To Do list Last updated Wednesday 2004-10-27 Items are not necessarily in order. 1. add changes from FM:Mercs (Revised) random unit tables 2. add new units from TR:3026 (Revised) 3. add new units from TR:3057 (Revised), as soon as it's available 4. add new units from Combat Equipment Guide, as soon as it's available 5. add "end date" or "end era" columns, to indicate when a unit is no longer available to a faction. This is most relevant with clan warships, but it applies to other units as well (such as the Mackie and AC10 Clint.) 6. systematically verify aerospace numbers 7. verify that we've got everything from FM:Updates 8. form an "appendix" of some kind with Unique mechs, MWDA units, and Solaris VII mechs (once TR3055U is out.) 9. a nifty feature would be a program that would automagically delete general lists and any unit shared by more than 2-3 factions, or 1 major and 2 minor factions, or 4-5 clans, or something along those lines. The result would be a much smaller list with a much stronger "faction feel" to it. I don't know if I'll have time anytime soon to work on such a thing, but it shouldn't take long. Anybody have strong opinions one way or another? 10. another nifty feature would be a program that automagically produced a list of all units sorted by faction, including general units, resulting in duplication (and basically elimination) of general lists. This could be convenient for comparing, say, all of the medium mechs of House Davion to an AFFS medium mech random unit assignment table, or for just picking from a list of medium mechs. A spreadsheet geek could probably do something like this in 5 minutes, but I'd use a scripting language of some sort. Anybody have strong opinions one way or another?
