Class Presentation

Students will make a presentation in class during the week of October 31. There is no better way to learn something than to teach it. Two students can join together to present a paper. Both students must talk. Presentations by student pairs should be 25 minutes without interruptions (but I will encourage modest interruptions). Presentation by single students should be 15 minutes without interruptions.

The recommended topic of your presentation is a paper pertinent to your project.

Timetable for Presentation in Lecture on Day T (or earlier!)

  • Fri Oct 21: Email instructor with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for paper to present (include pdf or a link unless you know I know the paper). I will assign papers first-come-first-serve. Please, talk to me earlier, especially if you have topic ideas, but no specific paper.
  • T - 2 Days: Send instructor presentation draft (T-3 Days for Monday presentations).
  • T - 2 Hours: Email instructor presentation.
