I’ve been a huge gaming addict, more so with multiplayer games played at LAN events such as DotA, Counter Strike, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology and Warcraft III. Yes, I am old skool!

This page will house or act as a level of redirection (the green text..) to whatever I end up making and term as a “game”. Most of them are really just prototypes that were completed in a very short time span.

Soap Racing (Windows)

I came up with the game design and developed the menu system, the level loader which used an XML file for encoding the track shape and location of obstacles, sound, fonts, scoring system and particle effects. Used the Irrlicht engine.

Time spent = 3-4 weeks.

Character control for Kinect (Windows)

Using the OpenNI/NITE stack with Amir Hirsch’s Unity wrapper, I developed the walking, turning & pyrokinesis gestures and added some particle effects, sound and game play elements which allow the player to move in a 3D world and interact with the environment by moving boxes, lighting candles and collecting points in the process.

Time spent = 3 weeks

Meet The Flockers (Firefox/Chrome/Safari)

A simple flocking game using processing.js and the html5 canvas element.

Time spent = 3 days

Bloody Barbarian @ Global Game Jam 2011 (Windows, Mac)

My role included the development of the blood splatter effects, moving walls, scoring system, sound effects and enemy spawning. Used Unity3D.

Time spent = 48 hours

Hare-y Care-y @ Global Game Jam 2010 (Windows)

Involved a good deal of pair programming with Will Buck to handle collision detection, character movement and level loading. Used XNA.

Time spent = 48 hours
