My research is in statistical machine learning, higher-order tensors, optimization, and population genetics. I am also very interested in statistical applications in neuroimaging and computational biology.

Prior to UW-Madision, I was a postdoc in the Computer Science Division (EECS Department) UC Berkeley. I spent 2015-2017 in the Department of Mathematics, University of Pennsylvania as a Simons Math+X Postdoc Fellow.
