I entered the University of Wisconsin in the fall of 2000 (initally as a music major) and left in May of 2005, graduating with three majors. In my time at the University, I served as a UPL coordinator, interned for political campaigns and elected officials, worked as a web programmer for both the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Division of University Housing, and was active in the Chadbourne Residential College.

After graduation, I moved to California to start work at Google, where I currently work on Google Book Search, primarily on user interface software engineer (code also used for Patents and News Archive Search. Previous to that, I worked as an engineer on Google Page Creator.

I currently live in my adopted city of San Francisco, and spend my free time exploring cafes and shops in San Francisco and hiking and biking around the Bay Area.

Despite my current distance, I remain a fan of many things Midwestern, including A Prairie Home Companion, Michael Feldman's Whad'ya Know? (on which I appeared as a quiz contestant in 2001), and the Green Bay Packers.
