Welcome to the digital home of Nis Bornoe. This is my little corner of the interwebs where I share my CV, research, papers, and blog. My occasionally updated blog can be found at /blog
I characterize myself as a qualitative Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) researcher and have a multidisciplinary background covering computer science, psychology, cognitive science and information systems. My general research subject is usability engineering. Currently I\'m looking into how usability engineering is conducted “in the wild” in industry. The purpose is to (hopefully) better bridge academia with industry by investigating how academic research can be made more accessible and useable to practitioners. I have in the past worked with qualitative studies of social media, mainly social networking services.
