Eliminated the need for any storage devices needed for debugging Veritas File System (VxFS) issues by re-implementing VxFS userspace utilities which enabled them to work on a file instead of a block device. This allowed the engineers to start debugging without blocking on the storage resources. It will be a part of future VxFS releases.
Wireless Network Business Unit Polaris Team • Instrumental in the implementation of High Availability feature to sync operational data to stand-by WLC (Wireless LAN controller) using elcaro database (a transactional in-memory database) with replication and support for dependency ordering. • Solved scalability issues persistent with the previous version of the software by externalizing the AP (Access Points) sessions data to a shared database outside the process, which was later tested on set-ups with more than 500 Access Points(simulated) and Mobility peers. • Efficiently used TDL (The Definition Language) schema that blends the requirements of messaging and databases. Technologies: C, Gdb, ACME; Hardware: Cat5760(Controller), Cat3850.
