Research Interests:
Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, Systems and Network Biology
Biography:
I am a second year graduate student in the Computer Sciences department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was a research assistant in Professor Sushmita Roy's lab. I studied ways in which we can use statistical and machine learning methods to analyze various cellular mechanisms, including those that interact to determine gene expression level. Before I was a grad student, I received my B.A. in Computer Science from Carleton College and spent a couple of years in the real world.
