Welcome to my home page

I am a graduate student in Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I am interested in operating systems, virtualization and system security. I am currently working with Prof. Barton Miller on Paradyn/Dyninst projects. I am working on a project titled Self-Propelled instrumentation.
This is a open source project which can inject a fragment of code into an application process. This light-weight dynamic insturmentation technique is achieved through application binary rewriting. This software can be used for analysing the control flow of the application within/across host boundary. This can also be used for security analysis. This project is written in C++ and is based on Dyninst code base. This software can now successfully instrument applications over a distributed environments.

Previously, I was working at Theoretical Computer Science(TCS) laboratory, IIT Madras with Prof.C. Pandurangan on signcryption.
