July 1998
In Septermber of 1998 I went out to visit my uncles, grandmother, and horses. While visiting my uncles & their friend Tom took me grouse hunting. I made the mistake of dragging along my newest friend Ten-Chi a grey Egytian Arabian. He did an excellent job. He also wouldn't have made it if he had been carrying anyone else, 165 lbs of human & equipment were more than enough!
At the end of every September my mom, Uncle Lloyd, Uncle Dale, and friends prepare to go hunting for elk and deer for the entire month of October. It's quite the experience. Although I have not as of yet been able to join them in this journey. My mother returns each year refreshed and excited to go again! Elk camp has become one of the best known Idaho traditions.
In May of this year my sister, Stacy, went out to visit my family. She had a wonderful time visiting the horses as well as my mother, grandmother, and uncles. She had a great time driving Mickey around with his Meadowlark cart.
