Hi. I'm a Ph.D. student in the WISION Lab, advised by Dr. Mohit Gupta. I am currently involved in designing low- and mid-level computer vision algorithms for Single-Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) image sensors. The sensor lets us pin-point individual photons as they arrive (a valuable property in low-light scenes and with fast motion), but also poses significant challenges for the downstream imaging pipeline: heavy noise and quantization is inherent to the captured photon count data.
