It is one of her better books of the sisterhood series. it reminds me a lot of the first 6 and it was hard to put down. I felt that the sisters were back in full swing. I was anxious to see how they were going to take care of the sister judges and the kids hurt by them.

I've read all the Sisterhood series books, and was worried that it was over. Then she came out with the first book of just Myra and Annie. It was good, and I looked forward to this one. I enjoyed it too, and the inclusion of the boys just added to it.

The title, Blindsided, is very appropriate--but it is the reader who is blindsided by some of the sloppiest writing Fern Michaels has turned in yet. When tou write a series of books, it is essential that the details stay consistent--like the name of a major character!! Throughout this series it has been Maggie Spritzer--2 r's in the surname. Suddenly she is now Maggie Spitzer!! Does the publisher not employ editors and fact-checkers? Next there is the plot. The vigilantes have always operated to render justice when the legal system has failed--until now. The legal system never gets a chance with these corrupt twin judges. The vigilantes usurp the process and become judge, jury and enforcers of punishment. This is a very bad precedent as it completely changes how the group operates. The judges disappear without ever having to stand trial for their misdeeds. I find that solution unsatisfying and brings the vigilantes down to the judges' level of flaunting the law. Perhaps if the author had spent less time on inane conversation and descriptions of drinking earlier on,there might have been space to develop the endi g of the book better. Finally, the characters are strange, boring, witless, and elderly. What happened to the younger women? They are all MIA in this book. Why? The geriatric version of the vigilantes leaves a lot to be desired. They plot and plan, but rely on teams of men to make it work and do all the heavy lifting. I am so glad I read this free on Kindle Unlimited. I would hate to think I paid for this.

Fern Michaels' Sisterhood is back!! Loved these books while she was writing them and now Myra and Annie are back seeking justice for those who can't get it through the system. The ladies are assisted by the men of the earlier books to make things right for a town that is ruled by corrupt twin judges. Maggie Spitzer is also back to help. If you have read the earlier series , you know that justice is served at the end of this book. I am so glad to see new additions to this series.

Just like the rest of the Sisterhood series this was a great read!! I've read them all and am always looking forward to the next one!!! Fern Michaels and James Patterson are my two favorite authors. Their plots have so many twists + turns and their characters are so real it's great fun to be involved in their lives even for a moment in time. jalayne
