My wife and I live in south Florida and enjoy weekend trips. Many people do not realize how large a state Florida is and how many interesting places there are to visit. While the book is not an exhaustive study on the state it give you many good ideas on places to visit and things to see. I keep it on my reference library.

I love the fodors books. I buy one for each of the places I travel, and I have also purchased them for places I am thinking about travelling. They give lots of info on where to go, what to expect, and even suggestions on what the local culture expects for proper behavior. I like that, it helps me not be the "rude American traveller". I recommend fodors to anyone who is planning a trip whether it is domestic or international.
