Kindle versions of travel books just don't have the same feel

I really like the Top 10 books in print versions, so I got the Kindle version so that I could save weight in my luggage. Trying to use this book is very frustrating. The maps are small and there doesn't seem to be a way to really be able to see them well. The key to the map locations is of course on some other page and you can't flip back and forth like you would with paper. The book is poorly formatted which makes it hard to read though the information. I keep buying different Kindle travel books, but most are a disappointment given the great promise of the Kindle format.
