Will it bring her deeper into Cole's heart, or will it be the end of Olivia's days in little Lucky Harbor?

Jill Shalvis does it again!! He's So Fine Lucky Harbor book #11

Jill Shalvis does it again!! He's So Fine Lucky Harbor book #11 is just as entertaining and full of real life as the rest of them. Olivia Bentley came to Lucky Harbor to get a new start.  She is a lively, quirky lady that runs the vintage shop in town.  Cole Donovan is a former Navy Seal, that works with his best buddies with Lucky Harbor Charter boats.  He is a guy that expects you to be totally honest in all aspects of life and is the fixer of what is broke.   One day Olivia sees a man drowning and without thought goes in to save him.  Little did she know that the man was former Navy Seal, sexy surfer guy next door, Cole Donovan!  Ultimately she ends of saving her, even as she sees she was saving him! Laugh out loud humor! Their journey to find what they are each looking for is as uniquely heart –warming and sexy as I have grown to love about Jill Shalvis’ books!  I am so looking forward to the next Lucky Harbor book!

    MY REVIEW:

five fine stars! This was great! The set up in these two meeting each other had me in tears with laughter. Who would have though a prior SEAL would need rescuing from drowning! Ha!

I loved the toughness of both the heroine and hero in this read. It had me engaged, and not wanting it to end. I have to say at this point I only with this Town actually existed. I would so visit there and most likely people watch all these characters just to see how they are doing now.

This book is just as steamy as the last, and Ms Shalvis doesn't disappoint with a great read!

When I first met Olivia Bentley in "It's in His Kiss",

When I first met Olivia Bentley in "It's in His Kiss", the last Lucky Harbor novel, I knew she was going to be interesting. She was very mysterious and pretty much a loner when we were introduced to her character and, that alone, attracted me to her story. I was intrigued by her and that gets me every time. I was drawn in before I even started reading the book (Jill Shalvis has a way of doing that with her writing) and rightly so. Olivia has some very deep seeded secrets from her past that she's hiding BUT those secrets are what made her who she is today. Her worst problem? Figuring out how to tell Cole without him leaving her. Everyone she has ever known has left her at some point so why would Cole be any different? Her inner struggle begins but you'll have to read the book to find out what happens.

We also met Cole Donovan in the last book. He and Tanner were Sam's best friends. Where Tanner is the "bad boy" Cole is the nerdy one that can fix anything. I mean, how many men carry a virtual tool box in their pants pocket? Cole does... He's ready for anything. He's definitely an Alfa male with a bookish/nerdy side but it totally works for him! A hottie handyman that gets your motor running. But Cole is fighting memories from his past that he just can't shake. A tragic accident on the oil rigs a few years ago has him jumping out of his skin at the slightest spark and spacing out at nothing and it's a blow to his ego that he can't seem to get past what happened and leave the memories behind. Then enters Olivia Bentley... In a not-so-subtle fashion.

When Olivia and Cole come together the healing begins for them both and theirs is a sweet love story that left me smiling. Their characters were perfect for each other and that's a big part of why I love Jill Shalvis' books so much. She knows how to intertwine her characters personalities so that they play off of each other beautifully. A piano in fine tune. I keep saying that each book I read in this series is the best, and that's no lie, as I read they just keep getting better. I almost didn't think that was possible but, trust me, IS! Once you get started in this series you'll be hooked... Completely and irrevocably. Tanner's story is next and I can't imagine how that will go but I am so excited to read it!

I loved Lucille's character (she is an elderly "hunk spotter" who is constantly snapping picks of the hot guys in town) and the way she was described as "...her rheumy eyes were sharp as a tack, her lips hooker red." I love that! LOL I also love Jill's reference to herself being banned from Facebook for posting "tasteful" art which has happened more than once. There were tender, sweet moments also. Little twins, Pink and Kendra had a spotlight in this story, also. Kendra doesn't talk and the scene between Olivia and Kendra after Kendra had just finished acting out Cinderella was so touching it brought tears to my eyes. Jill Shalvis doesn't only know how to write passion, romance and humor, she knows how to tug at your emotions as well.

I am typically an historical romance reader but the Lucky Harbor series has changed my thinking. I am quicker to check out contemporary books now and with pleasure. Jill's talent for blending together the perfect scenery, characters and storyline is something I love and her ability to take a series and run with it while making each new story fresh and new is truly unique. Some series play out long before they're over and begin to seem repetitive but not so with this series. I have loved it from the first book to the last! He's So Fine and Luck Harbor have worked their way right into my heart. I VERY highly recommend it to contemporary romance lovers!

Loving me some Cole Donovan(aka sexy MacGuyver handyman extraordinaire)!

Enjoyed this funny, touching & steamy read!  Lots of laughter along with sexy tension.

Olivia Bentley is hiding from her past as a former child star.  She's come to Lucky Harbor to start over and begin a new life as owner of an antiques shop.  She attempts to "save" Cole Donovan when he falls from his boat into water.  Even though he ends up saving her, he admires her courageous heart.  Both Cole & Olivia have pasts that they'd rather forget but trying to gloss over the past effects their relationship.
Olivia realizes that Cole is the real deal and starts to open her heart to him.  They discover that they need to come to grips with their pasts so they can have a future with each other.
Some great vulnerable characters.  I especially enjoyed Cole's dedication to his Mom & sisters.  Olivia realizes that she has friends in Lucky Harbor and she can take a chance on love.

I've loved all the Lucky Harbor books, and this one didn't disappoint!! I was intrigued by Cole in It's In His Kiss, and I couldn't wait to read his & Olivia's story. I loved their chemistry and banter and loved learning more about both of them. Olivia is trying to make a new life and has finally found something she enjoys, but she doesn't want Cole or anyone else to find out about her old life -- it would ruin everything. Enjoyed seeing the interactions of Cole with his buddies, his family, etc -- he's very loyal to his loved ones and always willing to help. I loved Cole & Olivia together!! This was such a great, sweet, sexy, fun, and entertaining read!! Hard to put down!!

He's So Fine, the 11th book in the Lucky Harbor series, was well worth the wait. I was given this book as an ARC, for a honest review and I loved every second of it. Jill Shalvis you have an amazing talent at telling stories, you are one of my pre-order 1-clicks.
This book is about Cole and Olivia, two Lucky Harbor residents. Cole is a partner in a boat charter business with two of his friends -Sam and Tanner after leaving the rigs after the death of one of their best friends Gill. Cole is now rigid in his beliefs and does not like lies of any kind, due to certain events that happened in his past and now he suffers with trust issues. Cole suffers from flashbacks from the accident that claimed his friends life with an igniting flame and this is how he ends up falling in the ocean and Olivia coming to his rescue!! by landing on his head while trying to save him.

Olivia has not been a Lucky Harbor resident long but loves the friendly little seaside town and all the people there. Olivia is trying to escape her past as she was a child Hollywood star till she hit puberty and could not play her part any more in a hit show so that is when her life fell apart, when the people she grew up with left her and she became known as a wild child, so when she came to Luck Harbor she came with a new identity that she could start a fresh from the scandal.

This story tells their budding romance, the ups and downs and I would recommend it as a 'Must Read'.

    He's So Fine

Cole is one of the few single "hotties" left in Lucky Harbor. He loves his

family, coven and all, he loves his job and his work partners and he's

contented with his life, except he isn't.
Olivia is a former wild-child actress, but she's changed her name, her

ways, and has started a new life in Lucky Harbor. She's happy with her

    life, except she isn't.
Both characters' past lives are invading their current lives and it's

starting to get a bit messy.
Olivia "saves" Cole from drowning one early frosty morning and things

quickly go from hypothermic to tropical heat wave. But their baggage is

    hindering their "relationship".

I love Jill Shalvis. She is a witty writer with characters and locations

you immerse yourself in. Lucky Harbor is one of my ficitional "boy would I

    love to live there" locations.

He¿s So Fine is the next installment of Lucky Harbor, WA, books.

He’s So Fine is the next installment of Lucky Harbor, WA, books. This fictional picturesque town is located on the Pacific Northwest Coast. Jill has developed some great characters, some recurring in various books, such as Lucille and her Past-Prime Posse! (Lucille is the town’s Twitter expert.) If you are looking for fun book with romance, laughs and a few tears, read this one!
Sam, Cole and Tanner grew up together and worked on an oilrig in the Gulf Coast. When a fire killed their friend Gil, the 3 men decided to return to Lucky Harbor and start Lucky Harbor Charters. (Sam’s story was in “He’s So Fine”) Cole is the focus of this book. He is loyal to friends and good to his family. He can fix anything! He always has tools in various pockets of cargo shorts and has a reputation as the town MacGyver. However, Cole was burned by his ex and has trust issues. Everything is black or white.
Olivia is a former child star of a TV series. She heard about Lucky Harbor from a set dresser and longed to live there. Her childhood was non-existent. She was abruptly cast out when her TV series ended. Lucky Harbor offers Olivia a new start away from her family. She chose the new name and opened the Unique Boutique. She keeps her identity a secret.
Cole has been around boats and water all his life. But on this particular morning, he falls into the ocean. Olivia sees it happen and jumps into the water to save him --- and almost drowns both of them! The scene is hilarious!!!! The humor, snarky banter and deep emotions continue through the end.
The next book in the series is One in a Million, Tanner’s story. Hm……. aren’t these song titles from the 60’s? Jill must have been listening to iTunes!

We all remember Cole and Olivia from IT'S IN HIS KISS. Cole is a partner in the Lucky Harbor Charters boat-charter business with Sam (It's in his kiss) and Tanner (One in a million). And Olivia is the new girl in town. She moved in next to Sam's girlfriend Becca's place, and she runs the local vintage shop.

The way Cola and Olivia officially meet for the first time is too funny!!!¿¿¿
Unofficially Olivia has been staring at Cole for months. Everytime those three sexy guys are out surfing or running or working out Olivia might have sneaked a peek.

All techno-geek with some alpha mixed in.

Just like our geriatric darling Lucille always does. Only Lucille takes photos and posts them on tumblr.

¿ Olivia just stares ...and maybe dreams...

Well, back to Cole and Olivia meeting. So cute and funny - I was sitting in a dentist waiting room when I started reading the book - and the room was full of people. It might have been a tiny little bit embarrassing!!!! ¿¿¿

Cole's family (aka his mom and his three sisters) are always after him to finally find a woman and settle down. But Cole has lots of things to overcome. A bad break-up & the horrible fire on the oil rig, where he lost his friend and where Tanner got hurt. ...

And Olivia has problems of her own. Her mom. She's pressuring her into coming back to Los Angeles and be a TV star again. Mom needs money.
Olivia used to be the star of a teenie show back in the day, and it didn't end all that well.
In Lucky Harbor she finally found a nice place to live and forget about her past.

And now there's Cole. She can't start something with him. Once people get to know her they might find out who she is, who she was. She doesn't want to risk that.
But - Cole is horribly attracted to her too and he's not one to give up that easily!

Lots of problems on both sides... but a huge attraction too....

...but with Olivia's past coming closer to Lucky Harbor every day and Cole's past catching up with him more and more every day......

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO OLiViA & COLE???
    WiLL THERE BE A HEA???
    WiLL THERE BE A CLiFFHANGER???

    Nope . . . I'm not telling you ¿
    _________________________________

This was such a beautiful & funny story!

I loved it from the first seconds to the last words.
I remember that I said the last book was my favorite Lucky Harbor book ever - and I might still think that way - BUT this one comes horribly close.... nooo, He's So Fine can totally share the number one spot with It's In His Kiss!
    I LOVED IT!!!!

You just cannot NOT love a book that starts sooo adorably funny ¿

And of course Lucille is never far from where all the hot guys are ¿ Facebook won't let her post her sexy photos anymore - so now she's on Tumblr. ¿¿¿

"Tumblr. I'm at Tumblr now. They don't have a stick up their ass about tasteful art the way Facebook does."

This 11th Lucky Harbor Romance had everything I need in my Romances:

    FUNNY SCENES

    SEXY & ROMANTIC SCENES

    MOVING & SAD SCENES

HE'S SO FiNE was just PERFECT!!!
At least for me it was - I really think and hope that you will love it too!! ¿

Now I can't wait to read about our sexy ex-SEAL Tanner! He will have to deal not only with his teenage son coming to live with him - he's also meeting his future HEA with Callie, who moved in next to Olivia & Becca ¿

Words cannot describe how wonderful He¿s So Fine by Jill Shalvis

Words cannot describe how wonderful He’s So Fine by Jill Shalvis is.  This book exemplifies Shalvis’ sense of humor, her creativity as well as her writing ability.  He’s So Fine is the second in her last Lucky Harbor Trilogy or Lucky Harbor book #11.  This book stars Cole Donovan and Olivia Bentley.  Cole is one of the partners of Lucky Harbor Charters with Sam & Tanner and also worked on the oil rigs with them.  Cole’s family, mother and 3 sisters, also live in Lucky Harbor and rely on him for his help and support.  Olivia is the owner of Unique Boutique, an eclectic store that sells clothing, jewelry and accessories.  The reader learns that Olivia had changed her name from Sherlyn Peterson, infamous child star who made Miley Cyrus look almost normal.  She wanted to put that life behind her, along with her stage mom who couldn’t manage her own money and sister who wanted the fame of the stage that Sherlyn had.  Once the sitcom was cancelled, due to her reaching puberty, everyone left her.  No one was there for her to help her move forward.  One member of the crew was from Lucky Harbor and always talked about how wonderful a place it was.  That was all she needed and made it her goal to move there eventually.  Cole lost his girl when he discovered she really loved Gil while they were at Gil’s funeral.
This book flows well between the insecurities of the two main characters.  Cole needs honesty in order to trust.  Olivia has always been deserted, no one staying to love her or care for her.  She’s afraid to tell Cole the truth thinking he will leave her but knowing if she doesn’t tell he will still leave.  Cole realizes, with the help of others, that he is too rigid in his expectations although on the surface he appears laid back.  The way Ms. Shalvis deals with these two characters and their faults is pure genius.  It is part of why her books are so well loved.
I loved the books written by Jill Shalvis, especially the Lucky Harbor series.  I am looking forward to the last Lucky Harbor book, One In A Million, coming out October 14th, which features Callie (Lucille’s granddaughter) who lives in the third apartment with Olivia & Becca and Tanner, partner and buddy with Cole & Sam. I will grieve the end of this series as I wish I could live in Lucky Harbor.

As always, a fantastic story line, well developed characters, and a cute small-town. Alpha males, sweet stong females, desire, and family love & craziness.
